Forbes has release their latest list...TOP FEMALE EARNERS ON TELEVISION. By the looks of this list, TV is hurting for some quality female leads on television series. On top of the list is Tyra Banks who is producer of the CW's America's Next Top Model as well as host and producer of The Tyra Banks Show. She is reportedly banking (no pun intended) $30 million a year. Here is the rest of the list:
Katherine Heigl - $18 million. Thanks to Grey's Anatomy and her role in the moddest success, The Ugly Truth, Heigl is the only star from her hit show to make this list.
Marg Helgenberger - $9.5 million. She can thank almost a decade on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for making her this much dough.
Eva Longoria Parker - $9 million. Parker is not quite a desperate housewife, ranking fourth on this list.
Mariska Hargitay - $8.5 million. This paycheck shows her last year earnings. She and co-star Chris Meloni reportedly upped their earnings so expect a higher ranking next year.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus - $8 million (TIE) - Imagine this paycheck along with the residuals she must get from Seinfeld. It's good to be funny!
Maura Tierney - $8 million (TIE) - Poor Tierney dropped out of the upcoming Winter show, Parenthood, to focus on her cancer treatment. This money is purely ER.
Tina Fey - $7 million - Most people would assume Tina Fey would rank higher on this list, seeing that she appeared on SNL and 30 Rock. She is also a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner. Needless to say, $7 million isn't anything to cry about.
Marcia Cross - $6.2 million - The second of the Despereate Housewives crew to make this list. Funny thing is that the other two aren't anywhere to be seen...cue the cat fights.
Jennifer Love Hewitt - $6 million - Really?!?!
