WASHINGTON (AFP) — A campus shooting at the University of Central Arkansas left at least two people dead and one injured, police officials said Monday.
The campus has been closed until further notice with all classes scheduled for Monday canceled, they added. One among a total of four suspects are currently in custody.
The shooting reportedly started at about 9:00pm local time Sunday (0200 GMT Monday) near the campus dormitory and involved several young men.
The university has about 10,000 students and is located in the town of Conway, in central Arkansas.
