Cereal giant Kellogg's has decided to end its relationship with Olympian Michael Phelps.
According to Advertising Age, Kellogg's announced their disassociation with Phelps via statement.
"We originally built the relationship with Michael, as well as the other Olympic athletes, to support our association with the U.S. Olympic team,” the statement read. "Michael's most recent behaviour is not consistent with the image of Kellogg's. His contract expires at the end of February and we have made a decision not to extend his contract."
Kellogg's also decided not to renew its sponsorship contract with the U.S. Olympic team which expired in December 2008.
Phelps may also soon be losing his endorsement deal with Subway. The fast food chain was set to release a campaign featuring him but it has been delayed.
Also adding on to his current isssues, USA Swimming has suspended Phelps from competing for three months and has also cut off his financial support for the same three-month period.
