Singer Ashanti visited Planet Hollywood in Times Square yesterday in New York City to give gifts to children. Dressed in a white jumper, Miss Sixty jeans and cream boots, the R&B superstar distributed the technologically advanced robot dinosaurs, valued at nearly $350 dollars and which have been donated by Ugobe, to ten lucky children from the Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families (EGSCF), a New York-based charity which protects and cares for those living in foster care.
“I think it’s always wonderful to give back and anything involving the kids is always great,” said Ashanti. She also revealed she loves children, although she isn’t thinking of having her own any time soon. I love kids! I love kids, you know. I actually used to work in a day-care center when I was younger, throughout high school, so I love kids,” she added.
