Default Andre 3000 Readies For ‘Battle In Seattle’, Prepping New Album

Outkast member Andre 3000 recently revealed that he will be releasing his solo album in the coming months.

The Atlanta rapper divulged to Rolling Stone that his solo project is a conceptual album but he has not decided on a release date or title.

“It should be dropping by the end of this year or early next year. I’ve pretty much been working with myself,” said Andre 3000. “I’ve never really been that big on collaboration. I have a concept, and all the soundscapes are already in my head, so I just have to figure out how to get there.”

In related news, Andre 3000 will be starring alongside Woody Harrelson in the movie Battle In Seattle which opens in theatres this Friday (September 19). The film is based on the protests that took place outside the World Trade Organization summit in 1999.
