Personally, as Nas would put this... "Ain't no best..." Don't get it twisted, there are a few rappers out there who have managed to make their mark in the place of hip-hop. Ant There are also a few rappers who have been known to put out bullshit (No names need to be mentioned). But back to the letter which I have read. Prodigy (1 half of Mobb Deep, and one of myu favorites by the way)has made a good point when he stated that the whips and chains of the slave era have been replaced with the same whips(rides) and chains(necklaces). Translation we as a people are too concerned with the shine that we hear about nowadays. Whether you have learned this during your bid, or during your years in the rap game, that was on point by you saying this. This should be a wake-up call to all of our people.
