The Avengers movie trailer was released Tuesday morning, and the two-minute peek into the Marvel Studios movie promises explosions, fight scenes and Tony Stark’s trademark sass.
The much-anticipated film, directed by “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” creator Joss Whedon and scheduled for a May 4, 2012, release, unites the Marvel superheroes that have been separately dominating the box office since “Iron Man” in 2008. The trailer shows Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) telling the team why they’ve been — er — assembled, the heroes checking out their digs at what we can assume is S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, and “Thor” villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) misbehaving again, all to the soundtrack of Nine Inch Nails’ “We’re In This Together.”
Lil Mama says she’s not interested in any hip-hop beef with Nicki Minaj. She wants to avoid the same outcome that resulted when “the media” hyped Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.’s West Coast vs. East Coast beef!
In an interview with XXL magazine, Lil Mama says,
“If we decided to go at each other and then somebody ended up dead, everybody in hip-hop would be like, “Oh my God, it’s so sad what happened to them,” she continued, “It’s just like what happened with Pac and Biggie. The same people that promote it and it’s sad.”
Rihanna reveals two different album covers for her upcoming project, Talk That Talk. The first cover is the standard album cover for Talk That Talk. Rihanna turns on the edgy sexy “bad girl” image and licks her coral red hued lips. She’s also posing in a camouflage sleeveless shirt with the album title tatted on her right arm.
In the deluxe version album cover for Talk That Talk, Rihanna appears to be a “good girl”… blowing smoke out her mouth.
She looks more innocent on the deluxe cover for Talk That Talk than on the standard version cover.
Rihanna tells Esquire she’s a fan of Chris Brown’s music.
It’s incredible to see how he pulled out of it the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know? I really like the music he’s putting out. I’m a fan of his stuff. I’ve always been a fan. Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons. But I’ve put that behind me. It was taking up too much of my time. It was too much anger. I’m really excited to see the breakthrough he’s had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, Nicki reveals the frustration of trying to get her foot in the door of the music business caused her to contemplate suicide.
“I felt like nothing was working. I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I’d have to go home. It was one dead end after another,” she said. “At one point, I was, like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt. Like maybe I should just take my life.”
