So if you been asking, “What happened to Somaya Reece?” Read Somaya’s exclusive interview with MommysDirtyLittleSecret below:
Monica: Why don’t we see you as much on Love and Hip Hop this season?
Somaya: I was in the first few episodes. I have no idea what happened because I did have a lot of story to add yet I don’t see it on the show. The fans made sure they bought me back! There was so much you didn’t see this season, my life is on fast forward right now with great stuff happening and they showed none of it. Like what happens with Swift, the album, the developing friendship with Chrissy, my rap single Eh Mama, my re-negotiation with Barry, my family issues, the image development, my signing with the top talent agency in Hollywood that I got by myself? What happened to all of that?
Sarah McKinley, 18, killed Justin Martin with a single gunshot wound on New Year’s Eve when he forced his way into her Blanchard, Okla. home.
The deadly encounter occurred about a week after the young mom’s husband died of cancer, according to TV station KOCO. Martin darkened McKinley’s door on the day of her husband’s funeral, several days before the shooting. He claimed he was a neighbor who wanted to say hello, but she didn’t open the door.
Martin returned with an accomplice on Dec. 31, and they tried to force their way into the modest house. He got the shock of his life when he came through Sarah’s door!
Nas is concerned about the safety of a concert promoter who was abducted in Angola. According to TMZ, Nas is ready to cut a big time check to help get the guy back to the United States.
TMZ broke the story … the concert promoter, Patrick Allocco, claims he was kidnapped at gunpoint by a local “concert impresario” who was FURIOUS when Nas no-showed at a heavily promoted New Year’s Eve show.
The “impresario” demanded Allocco fork over the $315k advance … or else. Allocco was eventually freed from captivity with help from the US Embassy … but he’s currently holed up in a local hotel.
Now, sources close to Nas tell TMZ, the rapper wants to help out, but refuses to shoulder the entirety of the blame.
Nas and his team DID initially agree to perform the NYE show … but made the decision to call it off due to a “miscommunication” about travel plans.
Nas never intended to keep the money, but his team is unclear about where to send the check. Nas’ team is currently working on a solution … and intends to help resolve the matter ASAP.
