Wiz Khalifa – Black and Yellow (G-Mix) …COMING SOON! December 9th, 2010 10:48 pm EST by Opportunist
The official Black and Yellow remix is coming soon according to Wiz Khalifa.
Numerous unofficial remixes have appeared online from Young Jeezy, Teairra Mari, and T-Pain, which Wiz calls one of his favorites. But the 23-year-old rapper told Hot 97’s Angie Martinez that the official remix, or G-MIx as he calls it, will feature Snoop Dogg, Jeezy, Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J, and T-Pain.
Wiz also dropped a “crazy” new verse on the track and hinted that another artist may join the lineup before it’s released. “We tryna get somebody else on there,” he said. “I’m tryna like say his name and make him be on it.”
DMX Denied Bail Again December 9th, 2010 10:30 pm EST by Opportunist
DMX will have to remain in the slammer a lil bit longer.
DMX was granted a continuance at his probation revocation hearing this morning at Maricopa County Superior Court.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was on probation following his release from jail this past July. He was arrested at his home in Cave Creek on November 18 and is accused of violating the terms of his probation. According to the arresting officer, the alleged probation violation is “ongoing use of cocaine, use of Oxycontin without a prescription, failing to submit to drug testing, failing to participate in counseling programs, failing to make payments, and driving on a suspended license.”
At today’s hearing, DMX’s attorney, Glen Allen, asked Commissioner Jeffrey Rueter for a continuance to appear before Commissioner Mulleneaux. DMX’s new court date is Thursday, December 16. In the meantime, he’ll continue to be held without bond at the Lower Buckeye Jail.

Aretha Franklin Battling Pancreatic Cancer December 9th, 2010 3:14 pm EST by Opportunist
Aretha Franklin, America’s “Queen of Soul,” is fighting the very deadly pancreatic cancer. She has reportedly undergone surgery and is recovering at home, reports AOL.
While sources close to the singer have not commented much on her condition, it’s no secret that pancreatic cancer does not have a strong survival rate. Last year actor Patrick Swayze died of the disease only a year and a half after diagnosis.
Pancreatic cancer is among the most deadly forms of cancer, in large part because it is so difficult to diagnose. “There is no standard screening for pancreatic cancer,” Dr. Jason Klapman, endoscopic oncologist at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, told AOL Health Thursday afternoon. “By the time it’s diagnosed, it’s advanced.”
It’s a relatively rare cancer, affecting only about 40,000 people a year. And only about 25 percent of cases, says Klapman, are operable. Of patients who undergo surgery, 20 to 25 percent have a five-year survival rate. For the rest, life expectancy can be as little as a few months.
