President Obama responded to Romney’s secret video — “47%” comment on “Late Show with David Letterman.”
President Obama: “Well, I don’t know what he was referring to, but I can tell you this. When I won in 2008, 47 percent of the American people voted for John McCain, they didn’t vote for me. And what I said on election night was, even though you didn’t vote for me, I hear your voices and I’m going to work as hard as I can to be your president. And one of the things I’ve learned as president is you represent the entire country. And when I meet Republicans as I’m traveling around the country, they are hard working, family people, who care deeply about this country and my expectation is that if you want to be president you got to work for everybody not just for some.”

President Obama attended a fundraiser at the 40/40 Club hosted by Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce last night.
The Prez addressed a group of 100 supporters at the club, his supporters having paid $40,000 apiece for the privilege.
Obama began his remarks on a lighter note, thanking the superstar couple for their hospitality.
He said his wife, Michelle, and daughters, Malia and Sasha, were annoyed that he got to spend the evening with the glittery couple.
President Obama also noted how much he and Jay-Z have in common.
“Jay-Z now knows, you know, what my life is like,” the president said. “We both have daughters. And our wives are more popular than we are.” He turned to his host and added: ”So– you know. So we’ve got a little bond there. It’s hard, but it’s OK.”
Obama also thanked Beyonce for being a role model to his daughters Sasha and Malia. ”She carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent,” he said.
