According to Nielsen ratings, Sunday’s game between the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys was the most watched since NBC began the Sunday franchise in 2006 — it cornered more than 25-million viewers!
Dallas Cowboys choked in the fourth quarter against the New York Jets! The Cowboys lead by 14 points in the fourth quarter but couldn’t hold on… smh. The Jets scored the finally 17 points. Congrats to Plaxico Burress making his first TD catch as a JET! (Sept. 11th, 2011)
An emotionally charged day for the Jets ended with an unlikely comeback as Nick Folk kicked a 50-yard field goal with 27 seconds left, giving them a 27-24 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the final game of the NFL’s first full Sunday with the commemoration of the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks as a backdrop.
Scott, who could not wait to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers but wound up in the losing end of the AFC Championship match, insisted he owns the phrase via a trademark and he can’t wait to see how exactly profitable it is.
“It took on a life of its own,” Scott told ESPN Friday. “It really took off on ESPN, it took over on YouTube. My wife said, ‘You should trademark it.’
Scott added he realized the monetary essence of his phrase and insisted he seeks a share of the profits others derived out if it.
Once I started to hear people were trying to make T-shirts, Scott said to ESPN, ‘I tell you what, if anybody is going to benefit off ‘Can’t Wait’, it should be me.’ ”
Scott said he has yet to derive money out of “can’t wait”.
